Windows 8.1 Preview Available Featured

Windows 8.1 Preview is here. Get a feel for the OS with a first-hand look at many of the new features and improvements with the Windows 8.1 Preview. Brandon LeBlanc discusses Windows 8.1 Preview in more detail in today’s featured link, so be sure to check it out especially if you can’t wait for the final (free) release later this year.

Then Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer made an announcement that Facebook will release an official Windows 8 application in the near future. Unfortunately no time frame was specified. Lastly Visual Studio 2013 Preview and .NET 4.5.1 Preview is now available. Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 is also now available. So for those who use Visual Studio 2012, be sure to get Update 3 which includes a few new capabilities, but is focused primarily on bug fixes.
