Facebook Trusted Contacts – If you have ever watched the show ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ you will know that one of the life lines available to contestants is the ‘Phone A Friend’ option. Facebook has recognised this as a very secure way for users to regain access to their Facebook account.
If you ever have the unfortunate situation where you can’t access your Facebook account, you can now set up Facebook Trusted Contacts. These are the folks who will make sure that you are who you say you are if you should ever need the access codes to your account.
It is actually a very ingenious method of providing access to users who have locked themselves out of their account. You see, now Facebook don’t have to do all the hard work every time a user requests access to his account. (more…)
